Kylie’s All The Lovers //created with 5Dmkii

We all love a bit of Kylie now and again and here at 3BM we are always looking for an excuse to watch her video’s. Well with her new video ‘All The Lovers’ we can watch it from a purely professional basis as it was filmed entirely of Canon 5D mkii’s and Canon 7D’s. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn who started out doing skateboarder movies but soon became highly sought in the music video industry, eventually working with diverse artists such as: U2, The Chemical Brothers, Gwen Stefani, Blink 182, Eminem, DMX, Wu-Tang Clan, Backstreet Boys, TLC, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Aerosmith, Faith Hill, Moby, Jamiroquai, Nelly, Justin Timberlake, George Michael, Kelly Clarkson, Busta Ryhmes, Garbage, Korn, Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny’s Child, and many more.
Take a closer look at these behind the scenes images and you can see the cameras in action on the left hand-side. The cameras are supported and have 50mm f1.2 lenses which give the video that lovely shallow depth of field look. Attached to the lenses are focus puller adapters to help with the focusing.
