Who we are…
3B Media were born out of pints of bitter and fish-finger sandwiches (don’t ask), and a desire to build a company that could create images and new media whilst sharing our philosophy with other photographers and inspiring to try it for themselves. Each with our own photography businesses we came together in 2008 by chance meeting and we all work with the same ethos and attitude to both our own work and life.
What we do…
- We are 3 professional photographers and videographers, creating imagery for the commercial world
- We train aspiring professional photographers through our practical workshops and one-to-one days
- We share our ideas and help and inspire other image makers through our website and social media
Rob is imaginative, resourceful, down-to-earth and makes a great cuppa. His passion for capturing the essence of the person in front of his lens is apparent in the moments he captures that others might miss. Originating in film-making and cinematography, he has become caught up in photography for its immediate and controllable nature, yet the thread of story telling is always apparent in his images.
Barnaby’s relentless quest for control over natural & artificial light, create a unique style of image. Sporting a gregarious, energetic personality he’s the first to help others finish the bill and share everything on his popular blog. Well traveled, easy-going and with an eye for the details, Barnaby has anecdotes and nuggets of useful information for any given situation. Plus his inexhaustible hunger means he’ll usually shoot for food.
Phil has a brain for business; while remaining client focused and head-strong. Coupled with a creative and do-anything attitude to picture-making, he is an inspiring photographer. Phil’s roots are in the wedding and training business, but lately he’s turned his hand towards live music and fashion photography, which must obviously feed off his quick thinking and ability to build rapport quickly with new clients.
